Presentation The Profhilo Body Kit developed by IBSA offers a global approach to combating body skin aging. It combines an innovative injectable treatment based on highly pure hyaluronic acid with post-procedure topical care to optimize results on skin firmness, hydration, and elasticity.
Composition
& Rheology Profhilo Body: 4 pre-filled 3ml syringes containing a 3.2% concentration (48mg/3ml) of hyaluronic acid. It features stable hybrid cooperative complexes (H-HA and L-HA) using the patented NAHYCO technology. Profhilo Figura Body Patch: 1 sachet containing 4 soothing and hydrating post-treatment patches.
Profhilo Figura Body Cream: 1 x 150ml airless bottle with firming, modeling, and deeply hydrating properties.
Indications
This kit is specifically indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe skin laxity on the body. It restores tissue turgor and tone while redefining contours. Target areas include the brachial region (inner arms), abdomen, and inner thighs. It also aids in tissue repair for superficial atrophic scars.
Dosage The medical device must be injected by a qualified practitioner using appropriate body injection techniques (such as the body BAP technique). The patches are applied immediately after the clinic session to soothe the treated area. The cream is used as a daily follow-up at home to prolong hydration and tone.
Storage Store away from light, heat, and freezing temperatures, in a dry place, between 2°C and 25°C. Contraindications Known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or any of the components. Pregnant or breastfeeding women. Active skin infections, wounds, or inflammation in the treatment area. Patients with bleeding disorders or uncontrolled autoimmune diseases.
FAQ
What makes NAHYCO technology unique? It creates stable hybrid cooperative complexes of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid through a thermal process, without using chemical cross-linking agents (like BDDE). How many sessions are usually recommended?
The standard protocol generally suggests 2 injection sessions spaced 4 weeks apart, to be adjusted by the practitioner based on the patient's degree of skin laxity.
