Presentation The PDO Barb II Anchor 18G 100 mm threads by Croma offer an advanced solution for facial and body contouring. Featuring a unique bidirectional arrow-shaped barb design, these threads act as a double hook to firmly hold and reposition sagging tissues. This powerful lifting method is suitable for various areas of the face and body. Packaged in boxes of 12, the threads are manufactured using an automated process ensuring premium quality. The ultra-thin walled needle/cannula with incisive edges and a special coating minimizes trauma and maximizes patient comfort during the insertion of these robust threads.

Composition

& Rheology Material: Fully absorbable Polydioxanone (PDO). Design: Bidirectional arrow-shaped multidirectional barbs. Needle/Cannula: 18G x 100 mm, ultra-thin wall with special coating. Packaging: Box containing 12 lifting threads.

Indications

These threads are highly effective for significant tissue correction and lifting. Target areas include the middle and lower thirds of the face, jawline, cheeks, eyebrows, and forehead. They are also ideal for lifting the submental (under chin) area and lateral neck regions.

Furthermore, they can be utilized for body contouring and lifting when combined with linear injection techniques. Posology The treatment area must be locally anesthetized prior to the procedure. The absorbable thread is then inserted into the subcutaneous tissue. The procedure is minimally invasive and typically takes only 15 to 40 minutes.

Results are visible immediately due to the mechanical lift. Over time, the PDO material stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, enhancing skin firmness and elasticity. Healing is generally very fast. Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and moisture. Keep in the original sealed packaging until use to ensure sterility.

Contraindications Active skin infections or inflammation in the treatment area. Uncontrolled autoimmune diseases. Bleeding disorders or current anticoagulant therapy. Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Known hypersensitivity to Polydioxanone (PDO).

FAQ

Will there be any visible scars? No, this minimally invasive thread lift technique leaves no visible scars, providing a natural-looking elevation of the tissues. When will I see the results? The lifting effect is visible immediately after the procedure. Skin texture and firmness will continue to improve over the following months as new connective tissue forms around the thread.

Is the procedure painful? The risk of pain and inflammation is very low. Local anesthesia is used, and the specially coated needles ensure a smooth insertion process.
